The House of Bolin launch event in Dallas
The brief

A new name, asked to arrive.

When stylist J. Bolin stepped into his next chapter as House of Bolin, the rebrand asked for more than a new name — it asked for a moment. Dev Jones Studio led the creative direction behind the launch event in Dallas, shaping how the brand showed up in the room, on the guests, and across every detail of the day.

Our work started with the vision: translating the client's intent against the larger arc of the event, then building the experience around it. We coordinated vendors and managed volunteers, aligning every moving part — from the room's flow to the final reveal — so the brand and the day landed as one story.

The result was a launch that felt less like an event and more like an arrival: a clear, confident first chapter for House of Bolin.

House of Bolin's visual language — a bold palette, graphic patterns, and a wordmark that carried the brand from invitations to the credentials guests wore in the room.

Creative Capacity Scorecard

Find your capacity.

Twelve questions across four pillars. Two minutes to a clearer picture of where your creative business stands — and a branded copy of your results, sent to your inbox.

Capacity

I can take on a new project without dropping something important.

Someone other than me keeps the work moving when I'm unavailable.

Every recurring task has a named owner, even if that owner is me.

Time

I know where my week goes and can redirect my time when I need to.

My files, assets, and approvals live in shared systems, not DMs.

Projects follow a defined process instead of starting from scratch.

Export of Creativity

I can describe what I offer in one sentence, and it rarely changes.

I have a plan to reach new clients that doesn't depend on going viral.

Launches follow a checklist, not a scramble.

Foundation

Every engagement has a signed agreement before work begins.

I send invoices on a schedule and know my runway at any moment.

My business could handle double the clients without doubling my hours.
